Default limewire sharing

When I first started using limewire, along with the download there was a limewire tunes folder where the downloads were stored once completed. This has stopped happening and I dont know where they are being sent to now so cant transfer them to itunes etc. Can anyone please tell me how to set up so my downloads end up in itunes?
I would REALLY appreciate it lol.
If you wouldn't mind you can email me at stevebutts@btinternet.com

Not allowed to post email details - sorry! You could end up with a ton of spam

Make sure you have the 'share my music' option ticked (tools > options > iTunes). Try deleting the preferences folder when LW is closed, see points 2 & 3 here
Fixes for LimeWire
This will kill your settings within options, you'll have to go back through & reset things afterwards.

Default Saving downloaded files from limewire.

Thanks birdy i have changed the settings like you described although I cant select itunes. Only the limewire tunes folder.
Another question though, can I transfer completed downloads from the limewire library? I dont seem able to drag them or select move/copy or anything.

Steve, are you using Windows or Mac? I don't know why you wouldn't be able to select iTunes! (I know nothing about Mac)
There's a heap of info within this thread, different ways to add downloads to the iTunes library.
Transferring music to iPod & iTunes

If you can't drag & drop, within iTunes file > add file to library. Now search for your LW saved folder, select it & highlight a file > open... it will move to the library. It's explained in more detail above!

Default itunes

Thanks again birdy. I managed to do it tho now. By clicking one of the saved downloads, highlighting a list of them and clicking to drag the top one brings the other highlighted items in itunes. Didnt realise that hovering a dragged item over the itunes tab at the bottom would open itunes for me to drop lol.
Thanks for your help though.
Regards,
Steve.
