 Clicking on downloads opens a URL?! This morning is the first time I've ever seen this with Limewire - frequently, but not always, attempting to download a file results in a URL being opened, where various other download services are advertised. What's up with that?? Thanks in advance for any info or help with this. Patty  |

| LW 4.12.3 has stopped those spam files causing that with copyright file search results. Update now to stop it: http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml But those fake file results will still show so be aware. If you get say 100 results for one file, 99 for the next, etc. then they're probably fake results & you'll never downld them. So choose those that are around 10 or 20 or so hosts for the file under the # column. |
