Is livewire under attack? Is livewire under attack? Some of my searches are coming up with lots of downloads that all look good but when you download them all you get is pop ups trying to sell you mp3 downloads Is there a filter or something I can use to stop this as if it keeps up livewire will go the way of winmx it is not that I m new, but this is new the file size look ok as dose the bit rate so am stuffed if I no what to do Maybe it is the record companies fighting back at p2p Any ideas ? Update to the latest LW 4.12.3 as it stops these spammed files having that effect. http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml If you find you're getting lots of search results such as 100 for one, 99 for the next in the results, etc. then they are probably fake results being spammed by groups such as Overpeers. Instead, choose those with 10 or 20 or so hosts from the search results under the # column. |
