![]() I used to have the old Limewire until I dowloaded Limewire 4.12.3. Since I have had the newer version, every single time I try to download a song, it keeps saying "Connecting..." until it goes to "Needs More Sources". I have tried everything and all the advice that is offered on here. I do have a firewall, but I have gone through Limewire's instructions on how to allow the Gnutella Network to connect. I have also gone through the tips in this forum on how to get better searches. I have also taken the advice to choose a song that has not as many hosts and it still doesn't work. I don't understand what is going on. It also allows people to download from me, but I can't download from anyone else. Help would be much appreciated here! Thank you! |

![]() If you're getting 'need more sources' every time, try deleting the preferences folder when LW's closed (points 2 & 3 below) Fixes for LimeWire Deleting that folder will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through & reset things afterwards! ![]() |
