Trouble with Firewall.
 

I am having trouble downloading anything on Limewire. The globe in the corner does have the brick wall in front of it...I'm assuming that's why I cannot download anything. A list of songs, etc. come up, but when I click download NOTHING happens. I have turned off Windows Firewall and have turned off Norton Internet Security...and then tried restarting and reinstalling Limewire several times. I do have AVG Antivirus, I don't know if that would have anything to do with it, but there isn't an option to turn that off, but I did exit it completely. Thanks for any help!! :)

1. Disable XP's firewall.
2. If you previously had Norton configured then delete the setting & re-configure it. Configuring Norton Internet Security.
3. Check to make sure your modem/router has UPnP enabled or otherwise forward a port. See such sections here Connection problems? Check here first! (click on link). ie: most high speed modems/routers have internal NAT firewalls.
