Default Could Not Move To Library error

I just started getting this error message today, saying that the file was being used by another person or program. While I am obviously not actually using files that have just been downloaded, the files seam dead I cant resume the download and hope the error doesnt occur again.

Any fix for this?

It could be that someone is uploading the file from you. You could shut down LW and delete the file from the incomplete files folder. The default location is C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Incomplete.

This thread might also help: Incomplete Download File won't delete at all.

There's a setting in LW if you don't want to share partial downloads. Go to Tools>Options>Uploads>Basic, and untick the Allow Partial Sharing option.

They werent being uploaded at the time, and I dont share the files that go into my main folder. They are not in the Incomplete folder either. They pretty much dont even exist on my computer to my knowledge, and after a windows search.

When you get the error msg, are you actually trying to delete something, or is the msg just popping up on it's own?

I don't know. I'll try to get someone else to look at it.

Have a look through this thread. It's a little outdated but it might hold some clues: Could Not Move To Library?

6_pac as me to have a look at this thread a couple of days ago and I have been trying to figure this out you said.

So had you removed them to preview them? Did you have a power surge or did you suddenly loose power to your computer that shut your computer off while LimeWire was running? Were the files completed or were they incomplete?
