What player are you using? Does this happen with every song? Try using a different player. Are you previewing the songs during download? Have a look at LOTR's bitrate versus file size link in the thread below, you might've downloaded a crappy file!

Sorry, I meant does this happen with every song you download... not just versions of this one song. Can you download other stuff? If it's just the one song then the files are probably crap. Try searching using the All Types category & look for artist or album name rather than song title. Go for a file with 10 sources or less, there's more chance of it being a downloadable file.

Can you edit out the artist & song title in your post? It's against the forum rules to name copyrighted files Forum Rules;)

The more popular it is the more likely Overpeers will be spamming you if it's a copyright song!!! And the more likely it will be corrupt from many of the total search results. Remember this? http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...loadfree.shtml

What player are you using? Try making something else your default player & see what happens.

(to change your default player, open your saved folder outside of LW. Right click on a song > open with > choose program. Highlight the player you want to use, tick the box 'always use this program to open files of this type' > ok)

It is really late and I am tired so I may be dumb at this time but, how do I access my "saved folder outside of LW" ???

For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you. Or if LW is closed, the default location is usually C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared
