Well I found a great variety of file sizes v's bit rate which means some are corrupt. Also when you see the ... before the extension, it means it's a fake file! (unless the filename extends so check this by hovering your cursor over the name to see the whole filename.) I downloaded 2 without problem & also played back, but I don't know which is the original artist you're after. One was obviously recorded off the radio. Also when you see the ... before LOTR I am trying to sort all this out. Did you mean any file with dots.... is a fake? some look like there just was not room for the whole title. Sure glad you are willing and able to help out here. thanks, rockboy2001 PS how do you put a quote in the gray boxes I have seen in here. |

The grey box represents a quote. ie: if you want to quote all or part of someones previous post, press the Quote button below their post. Edit out parts you don't want to include. To answer your question, yes, sometimes the title is so long it gives ... at the end. But these ...'s are generally closer to the actual extension, besides you can hover your cursor over the title & it will give you the actual full title. If you see ... or a http address then you know it's fake. See more here Sponsored Results (click on link). But that's one type of fake file. If a file with many, many hosts is real & you downld it, it should start downlding not to long after. But fakes will take many minutes pretending to try to connect but then end up as Need More Sources. Last edited by Lord of the Rings; September 10th, 2006 at 04:54 PM. |
