Now when I launch LimeWire and it attempts to conect to existing downloads ... as it should. BUt here's where it gets kinky for the last 24 hours. in the Status Window (I think that's what it is called) I get many files listed as Waiting in Line Postition X with x = to a range of numbers from 1 - 27. I blelieve these files are actually available because I just "saw" them while using BearWare. (Yes I have tried deleting these downloads and it does "free tings up but I want these files and this keeps happening!) It's gets more odd. The rest of the downloads are lsited as "Queued" and I get maybe one file to start downloading if I am lucky. I have it set for 10. WHat witht the "Waiting in Line" message all my slots are "busy" and I get no action.

I've looked at the boards and don't see this situational addressed. Any LimeSvengalis out there with any suggestions for a user who characterizes his technical prowess as "ignorance on fire"?

I'm really not sure but maybe you're getting bumped out of the queue (or not let into the queue) by users of some other p2p app? Don't know if you found this thread in your search...
