VERY slow downloads, HELP!

I just got Lime Wire and started downloading....
It's going REALLY REALLY slow but since I'm new to it I don't really know why.
Any ideas???

Hmm... do you connect via a modem (dialup connection) to the internet? That would explain it. If you have dsl or better, I can't help you, but if you connect over a phone line, your only choice would be to pay about double a month for a faster service.
