Really slow downloades

i am having really slow downloades and i just got this program so could someone tell me what i could do to make the downloades go a little faster?

Well, if you use a dial-up connection (over the phone line with a modem), theres not much you can do except upgrade to a more expensive internet connection, like DSL or Cable.

If you do have a faster internet connection, then I really don't know how to help you... maybe contact the provider of that internet service?
