virus problem
 

i have had the normal free limewire for a while but a couple weeks ago i had to get limewire 4.12. Now whenever i open up limewire a popup comes up from nortan anti virus that says it has detected a bug. You can hit ok but it keeps popping up every 2 seconds. so in other words i cant really use limewire now:mad: . here is a picture of the popup.

does any one know the problem

When I downloaded the new version I had to reset my firewalls and, as I use a router, I had to do Port Forwarding again. Maybe if you had the same problem with Norton when you first used the older version of Limewire you should do the same again.

im not much of a computer guy so could you maby say that again so that i could understand it.

Right once more.
When I first downloaded Limwire I had a bit of a problem getting started. Then I fixed it by sorting out a firewall problem and as I had a router I had to do a thing called Port Forwarding. Everything was fine after that until I installed the newer version and I had to do it all again. So I think what I am saying is ; if you had problems the first time you installed Limwire and you are now having the same problems with the new version, then fix it the way it was fixed before.
If the above doesn't apply then ignore this.
