![]() You know like the thing where you try to download a song, but once you click on it, it opens up a webpage instead of downloading the song. This happened yesterday and I was wondering what exactly caused this? I'm just curious to know how Limewire would trigger something like this, unless those files were "fake" files like from RIAA or something? Is this something to worry about? |

![]() Thanks for the reply, but I think you misunderstood, lol. Like I mean it doesn't happen anymore now that I upgraded to the newest version. But I'm curious as to why the old versions directed you to a webpage? And also is the webpage a form of "tracking" to see whos downloading songs. Or is this nothing to worry about, etc. ![]() |

![]() Links to Artist Direct are uploaded/shared by the company concerned, and the links are disguised as mp3s or similar. So they are fake files, but they are not dangerous ... just a damn nuisance ![]() I hope this helps. |
