![]() My searches seem to run for a minute or two and pass back results, sometimes a lot of results, but then the lime stops spinning and no more results come in... I guess I'm used to BearShare, that would keep right on searching practically forever. Is LimeWire still searching in the background or something? |

![]() This isn't really a reply. I have the same problem; the lime stops spinning and my searches seem to cease within seconds of starting, especially if it is an unusual search request. I was unable to find the answer to this question in the forum. A little help? |

![]() It stops spinning because it stops searching. ** Developers listen ** We should be able to set either a) minimum number of searches returned before it gives up or b) minimum time it searches before giving up or else it should be set up like other clients to search indefinitely After all, once the search goes out, it is basically propogated .. well, not quite indefinitely .. but for a while. Or have they reduced the TTL a lot in limewire as compared with other clients? |
