Need help with AVI files

Does anyone know why I cant view AVI files? I get audio but no visual....I have checked the usual suspects but am now at a loss. Help please.... someone!

You need to have the correct codecs installed to be able to veiw AVI files...
Or the VLC player has them already installed...
This thread will give you a list of downloads for codecs and the link to get the VLC player and it's free...
