nsvlady16 | September 28th, 2006 07:42 PM | Can't find Share Folder I just download limewire on my new pc Compaq Presario. I've used this for years on my Dell. So I know when I go to cd creator and find the limewire folder I just click share and all the songs I have in limewire I can now put onto cd creator and burn my cd. But now I have cd creator 6 (which shouldn't matter) and when I find the limewire folder it reads .NetworkShare and another folder that reads root. Believe me either of these things are the limewire I've used in the past. I tried taking it off and putting it back on and get the same thing (and I did have the lastest ver -sion on my other pc too). I'm fustrate BIG time and called Compaq but they won't help it's a third party thing. I don't understand I've used this a million times in the past on the other computer. Can someone please give me easy directions how to fix this? Yes I can go into limewire download all the songs I need and see them in my libary but can't bring them into my cd creator 6 program or even my Sonic program that compaq has. HELP!! Thank you so so very much for any help I can get |

| Thats not it. The location of your shared folder should be C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Shared. Point your programs to that location.
To open your shared folder outside of limewire, go to the LW Library page. hi-lite the shared folder, then click the explore button. That will open the folder. You could also probably just drag the files from the LW Library and drop them into the other programs. |
