Do not touch the files in the incomplete folder itself. Go to Limewire>library>incompletes. Select the files you want to resume and click resume. They will search for sourses in the download pane.

Often it helps to re-search the keywords in the file and this can kick start the file into restarting, as Limewire does not always find the file on its own.

If you see a serch result with what looks like a torn paper icon. This is a file you have incomplete. Downloading that file from the search windo will restart your incomplete file.

If none of this works, re-search the file and start from scratch.

I hope this helps:)

I presume this person is using LimeWIre. They didn't specify. And posted in a non-specific program section. ie: wrong location.

If you don't want to continue downloading them, then fine, delete them. But if you delete the downloads.dat file you will lose all record of your downloads & your incomplete files will be useless. That's why it's not recommended "touching" the incomplete files.
