Aquiring Liscense (Music) Problem

I have been using Limewire for over a year now. I have not had this problem in the past and I am trying to figure it out. I looked up Audio: Chiodos (Music) / After that I went to download the song in connection speed DSL/Cable which is my download speed. When I do that a pop-up come up saying "Limewire is unable to find a liscense for this file. Download anyway? Please note: Limewire cannot monitor or control the content of Gnutella newtork. Please respect your local copyright laws. Then three options come up saying Yes , No , Cancel

After I attempt to download the song. It's saying "Need more sources". I've tried multiple times and the same incident keeps happening. I thought maybye because I didn't have Windows Media Player , it wouldn't work. I downloaded Windows Media Player and the same thing happened. I've been trying to figure this out for about 2 hours and cannot find the answer.

I've searched on the FAQ and I did not find anything about this problem. As I've already said , I have not experienced any diffaculty downloading in the past. This is the first and I believe it is very minor. I just do not know how to fix it , so if anyone could help me , I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks ,
David

Perhaps (if it's a copyright title) you are coming across fake file results. It happens with both music & video files. See Recognising fake files

Choose those with just a few hosts. Modem users are safe to downld from.

Okay , I have tried Modem & Cable/DSL users. It's still not working. I have tried multiple times now and nothing. I don't know the problem...This is very aggrivating.

Try an experiment with an audio song from a magnet link: http://www.magnetmix.com/index.shtml
Tell us what happens.

BTW I presume you have seen this!? License requirement (click on link)

If you succeed with the magnet link then perhaps try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

May I ask what the problem was?
I'll be happy to lock the thread. But an answer to help others might be good. No matter how simple or trivial it seems.

You were right about the # of people trying to download from the host. Modem and DSL works for me. You were correct , so thank you very much.

Cheers. Unfortunately it's a fact of life now as of several months ago.
