Connecting .... Hi, Im Brad from Australia. I've used heaps of downloading programs, mostly Gnutella based. Limewire, Frostwire, Bearshare etc. But recently, Bearshare updated and I didn't like the new update, so I moved back to Limewire. I noticed, when I downloaded files, It said " Connecting " and then after that it would say " Need More Sources ". I kinda' looked around, and the solutions to these problems were explained to complicatably. So I was wondering, why does it do this? Can you explain what to do to stop this? Thanks -Brad 1. There are heaps of fake files around now, sounds like that's what you're seeing. Search again, vary your search terms & stay away from files with huge numbers of sources. Go for a file with 10 sources or less, or even with a single modem source. Click on the link below for some more info Info about fake files If you're looking for video, check the file out before download with Bitzi. If the file's been rated then you'll see other users' opinions of it's quality. A file with heaps of sources but no Bitzi rating is often a fake! How to use Bitzi  |

Remoc, my problem isn't where I don't have enough hosts, I still have the problem with files that have 1 source, 10 sources, 20 sources, 30 sources, etc. Even the ones with 80 sources, they still show up as. " Connecting " and then after a while " Need More Sources " |

Remember as I hinted, modem users are safe to downld from if you can find them. Or choose those with just a few hosts. See if you can browse them. |
