Default i downloaded some movies but they wont play

I downloaded a couple of movies and when i went to play them in itunes they wont play, can someone help me

They will play on that but i cant get them to play on itunes

To play on iTunes they must be either of 2 specific file formats, MPeg 4 or a variation on MPeg 4 called H.264. See more about this here How to transfer to my iPod (& iTunes) - for video. Remember Mpeg files might be either Mpeg 1, 2 or 4.
