Here is my problem. I started up LimeWire and then noticed my internet connection was down. The next thing I know is that it says Limewire could not connect to your downloads or somthing like that and all my downloads just vanished. When my connection was back up I restarted LimeWire, it was of no use all old downloads just dissappeared (had to start fresh) . Can anyone give me suggestion as to what can be done or is this just an error on LimeWire with a sealed fate.

Go to LW's Library window, select incomplete folder, select incomplete files (select 1st to last whilst holding SHIFT key to select all at once), then press the Resume button. This will force them back into the download window.

This normally happens if you don't close LW down properly, or LW or your system crashes, or you go back to an earlier version of LW, or you deleted your LW download prefs called download.dat
