Transferring files to Limewire
 

How do I copy music, which I downloaded from my CDs to my hard drive, to the Limewire shared files? I would really appreciate any assistance.

Open up "My computer" from your desktop and find the file you want moved. Click on it and look on the left of the window for "Move this folder" a browsing window will come up. Go to C:/Documents and Settings/Owner.(name)/Shared.

Click "move"

It should now appear in limewire.

what does it mean if files i put in the library to share from my own computer are highlighted in red text? (using windows)

Files in red aren't being shared. If you right click on a file > share file, the colour will change to black.
Refreshing the page should also work. If things are really stubborn, try restarting LW:)
