Angry how do I re-establish incomplete files after system crash?

I had some files I was downloading and my system crashed. had to reinstall my OS. fortunately my incomplete folder and my shared folder are on a secondary hdd so all the files are still there, but when I run LimeWire now they seem to be re-downloading from the start. a couple were in the higher hundreds of Mb and were nearly 75% complete now the progress bar says 0%. but when I check the incomplete folder it says that the files contain "X" amount of Mb. Normally when I turn off Limewire and come back again my files resume from the point they were last at. How do I get these files to start back from the point they were. and do you think that having to reinstall LimeWire caused it? (if I still had cable I wouldn't have this problem )

http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?t=49851 The links at the end of this post may help. Good Luck.

I am told that the next version of Limewire MIGHT send deleted files to the Trash/Recycle Bin. Let us hope this is the case, although it doesn't help you ....
