![]() Hi, I'm new to this and I can't find where the music that I've downloaded on my PC's HDD. Just to make sure I'm downloading right; I hilight the song I want to download > click the download button and the song shows up in the window at the bottom > and then once it says 100% it's downloaded right? Things I've tried; My computer > C > documents & settings > username > shared I've done a search for "Limewire" and the only 4 folders that come up don't contain my songs. Where are they? Can I set up the download to go to a folder like "My Music"? |

![]() Search for the song name. They will not have Limewire in the title. Go to the Limewire Library see if the songs are there. Hightlight one and click explore. OR go to options>saving> save folder. The path to the folder wil be shown ther. I hope this helps ![]() |

![]() I apreciate the help, but it's still not working. I made a new folder in "My Music" and went and changed to download location to that folder in Options and nothing has shown up that I downloaded. I also downloaded 5 songs under the name "Cosmic Messanger", did a search on my PC and the results found nothing. |

![]() For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you. Make a note of that folder & its location. Actually if you hover your mouse over the Saved Folder in the LW Library window, it will show a window displaying the location of the folder. For definite, go to LW's menu bar, select Tools -> Options -> Saving & this will show the location of your download folder. Are you sure the file was 100% downloaded? Is it in your incomplete folder or saved files folder. You can use the Explore button on each of those folders to check. If you want to know about changing location of download folder, or having separate download folders for media type, & all other complicated issues such as that, see 1. See How to Change download location (click on link), 2. See How to Change download location (click on link) (specific for folders), 3. How to move downloads to new location |
