Default Videos download as unplayable folders

As of last month, any video files (audeo files are OK, and these are the only 2 types I have tried, to date) that I click on in the search window become listed in the download window below as "New Folder1" instead of their actual file name. Further attempts to download other video files at the same session result in "New Folder1(1)", New Folder1(2), etc in the download window.

Once saved, the file appears as a folder instead of a file and WORST OF ALL, they cannot be played by any of my players!! Could I have accidentally messed up a setting?

Help,
AZaztec

What is the default video player on your computer? Select a "normal" video file on your computer, right-click open with & choose your prefered player & tick always use with. See if you have same problem after that. You'd need to restart LW to see any difference there.

Thanks for the assist. I seem to have corrected the problem by changing my destination folder. For whatever reason, my old destination folder wasnt accepting files and only was accepting folders, which doesnt make much sense, but seemed to have been the case.
