![]() Well GZ Do you know if your ISP is now using anti-P2P equipment to curb P2P usage? If their are using "bandwidth shaping" equipment then there is nothing you can do but find another ISP that does not have an anti-P2P policy but I think that most, if not all, ISPs now reserve the right to invoke their "fair usage policy", which means using equipment to curb your usage of their network. Living in Malaysia you may not know this, most US and all UK ISPs have clauses in their contracts that give them the right to use anti-P2P bandwidth shaping equipment without any notice to you the consumer. So I guess that your ISP is just following the road that US and UK ISPs have already taken, treating their customers like dummies. UK Bob |
