![]() Heres an interesting problem...well sorta. If I'm downloading a file then I do a search for that file it comes up with a folder next to it. Now if I click on that folder do the search results get added to my current download. I think I've done this before but the file was doing a search on it's own so I'm just not clear on this. |

![]() Er...if you are downloading a file, it will show up in the search pane, with a open folder and arrow in place of the stars. It may show say 5 hosts, but you may find you are actually downloading from more or less than 5 depending on which of those hosts ..or others are available since your search. Let us imagine you are downloading from 5 hosts and you re-search the file. It is possible your search will bring up more sources, which Limewire should have "found" automatically, but did not, and these should hopefully be added to your number of hosts you are downloading from. Limewire needs a bit of a push to find sources and re-searching does that. If you see a search result with an open folder/arrow, you do not need to click on it, It is already downloading. BTW If you see a torn paper icon, It means you have part of the file, and selecting download on the so marked search result will restart the download from where it left off. Well this is how things should work and usually do. I hope I understood your question and ansewred it in a way that makes sense ![]() |

![]() If the files read "need more files", nothing will happen. You need to manually click "find more sources for download" and if they are on looking for new sources, or awaiting sources, they then can restart if you bring sources up in a search. ![]() BTW it is a bad idea to start up Limewire with more thn a very few incomplete downloads in the download window. It can prevent Limewire from connecting. |
