video will not preview Hi guys, need some expert help off you all. For some reason when downloading video and i press preview nothing happens. the timer comes up but no video is shown ! All of my video library contents will now not play either, except for mpeg files but not mpg which I thought were the same!! When I attempt to play any library contents it goes straight back to the home page. Also, my library contents are in red type. Any idea guys as this has only just started happening. thanks Last edited by lowrider; November 4th, 2006 at 05:08 AM. |

Might be a codecs issue.... You could try to use a different media player such as the free VLC player with built-in codecs which can play almost all media files without problems. You can download it from here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ As a side note, to preview files with it you'll have to open the files directly from the Incomplete folder and not via the LW preview function.

Thanks for that. It's a bit of a bind having to do it this way but at least I can now preview. Any idea why my library contents are now in red type when they used to be in black? Has this anything to do with the problem ? thanks again |
