Hi all, I'm new to limewire, just came over from bearshare. (yes i know it's the same network) Here's my problem:

the last few days, I've been trying to download ONE song from a not-immensely-popular band. I can find other songs by this band and they dl fine. I look for this one song and I get a ridiculous amount of sources (about 6000 currently), with anywhere from 1 to 100 sources listed for each file, but it WILL NOT download, or even connect. It will hang on "connecting" for quite a while and then go to "need more sources." I've tried this on probably 50 to 100 files over the last three days. when I try to browse hosts, also, they are unavailable, leading me to wonder if they're really there..... anyone ever experienced this before, or have any ideas? Thanks very much!!

EDIT: I should add that these are all 4-star sources, and I've read the "optimizing success on LW" or whatever it's called thread, and disallowed the suggested IP addresses... which made no difference. TIA...

Thank you 6pac! I did a search on the album name and came up with 2 files for this song -- one's an m4a which I've no experience with, and it's slowly downloading now off a modem. the other one says "waiting on busy host" which at least sounds legit! Thanks again for your help.
