Default Torrent Download Option

LimeWire is automatically made the default torrent downloading program. I do not want to use it to download them. I have looked everywhere through the options to turn this off and I can find it.

Does anyone know how to turn that function off? I much prefer Azureus for my torrents. Any help would be great.

I guess noone knows what the hell im talking about.

I am trying to download a torrent say from isohunt.com and when I click the open but on the file it opens limewire and starts to download except it is extremely slow (talking days apon days for a 100 mb file). It is really annoying because I could be downloading it from Azureus a hundred times faster.

nevermind I figured it out. If you are having the same problem what has happened is when you install limewire it searches your computer for all your share files and make limewire the default program to use when downloading them. To change this go into the folder and change the properties to the program you want to use and it will change all of them in that folder.

Limewire just started handling torrent files and is only available in the Beta Version. So it may have some bugs. Also some of us aren't very familiar with torrent files and will take a little time to get up to speed.

Thanks for the info though. All feedback is much appreciated .
