download speeds
 

im new to all this downloading music and stuff so i might sound abit thick. ive got 2meg unlimetted download broadband and was told when i downloaded limewire to only download tunes with the cable/dsl speed. whats the difference between the different speeds and can i safely download tunes with other speeds because some1 told me if i cant get a tune from a host in cable/dsl then to try T1 but only T1 and nothing else. if some1 can explain to me what i can and cant do i would be much appreciated. :)

You can download files from any speed without any ill effects. The problem is that there are a lot of fake files being spread about on the network and they tend to be from sources with the fastest connection speed(t3, t1, cable/dsl). This is not always the case but is a guidline to help increase your chances of finding good files. There are plenty of good files from sources with the faster connection speeds.
