Please help, trouble downloading.
 

I have been using limewire for a long time, and it never gave me any trouble. However, one day when I opened it up to search for a song, every song I type in loads, like it downloads, but nothing comes up. It just comes to the end of the download...and it's like there are no songs found..but I don't think it's because the song doesn't exist in limewire, because I tried soo many different songs..

I hope someone can help.

That's a bit of a vague description. Do you mean you select a file to download from the search results & it doesn't actually download? It just goes to need more sources?

If yes, then the files are probably fakes. Or it might be related to Rogers depending on your answer.

ohh no i messed up in my decription sorry .. it loads like the little bar on top that shows its searching for songs.. but no songs come up.. even popular songs..like i get no hits for any songs..

Ah ... that's typical of ISP filtering & Rogers does filter against particular users. They have admitted it in public to filtering p2p users. So you may be the odd one out who they chose.

You could try changing both a connection & listening port around the range of 49152 - 65535. Try 64049. Go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Advanced>Firewalls & change both port boxes.
