WILL NOT DOWNLOAD, or search for that matter
 

I used to use Limewire frequently, but one day it just stopped downloading anything. It will connect and run just fine, and let me perform searches. However, no matter what I search, nothing ever appears for me to download. The things I am trying to download are the same as before, when it was working, so its not that the things I am searching are junk files. I deleted Limewire, and re-downloaded the program twice now and it is still not working. It is not a connection problem, I AM connected. My download slots are set to 8. I can't figure out what the problem is. I really would like to be able to fix the problem, because the music I've found on Limewire I cannot find anywhere else. Help please? Or if anyone knows a good free program for downloading foreign music, care to share??

I'm confused. "It will connect and run just fine, and let me perform searches"...your post's title says will not download or search. So is search working properly or not??

If search isn't working, try the fixes below:

If search is working but nothing moves to the download pane:

I can type in something to search, and the search tab will fill up as if it has searched for everything. But no files ever appear for me to be able to download. I can search, but I never get any results.

Ok, have a look through the first (blank results page) link I left...there are a few fixes to try there. Let us know how you go with that:)
