Cant Search...
 
Hi there, i am new to Limewire, BUT am having problems, i cant seem to search anything, when i type in the search bar what i am looking for nothing seems to be coming up. I am on the basic limewire package, windows XP.

You need to configure your Firewall to allow LimeWire full access
Give me some details of your opperating system

erm windows XP erm Norton anti virus, what do u wanna know

so is your windows firewall also turned on, if so it will conflict with norton.
Disable the windows firewall and give LimeWire full accsess to norton this
should help, if not shout.

Go to the control panel, double click on Windows Firewall, check the disable box. There is another technique depending on your set up; http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...620#post178620

You do know where the control panel is right? Start menu > Settings > Control panel

sorry about this, and many thanks for emailing me, BUT it still wont let me search anything, no options come up for it, and there is still a wall in from of the world thing :S
