Disconected but still downloading

When I disconect, and Lime wire says I am disconected, my computer is still up and downloading, WHY? how do I stop this and stay on line?

Sounds like you still have LimeWire running in your tray, bottom right
corner Right click on L/W icon,EXIT
Post more info if its not stoped,
