hiya , ive been using limewire for ages and just recently it will not allow me to search anything . When i do search an artist it will present me with my own files, what do i do?

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

ive tried that and it still wont work it shows me my own files when i try to download something , i reali dont understand :S

by answering these questions what does it do , i dont no the answer to most of these questions as i am using the internet at student accomadation , but this hasnt stoped me before

Oh really. Student accommodation. No wonder. Perhaps like most schools & student accommodation nowadays after complaints the bandwidth was all being used up they decided to block or shape p2p use.
