LimeW doesnt download
 

Hi bit of a newbie. I have just installed the latest version of limewire. I get connection and im able to search for things. But once i hit the download button the file status will just sit at "connecting" then it will revert to "need more sources". I have tried it with different types of files and the same result. I have a very strong connection signal and limewire tells me im not behind a firewall. Im using XPHome SP2, cable net connection.

Its a new computer so i dont have files to share, i read the FAQ's and it mentions that this could also be a reason it wont work. Help is needed...

Sounds like a fake file thing, Look in the sticky "MAJOR TOPICS for Upload/Download HELP" just above your post, 4th link down in the post
