One fix for slow download speed

I was having the capped download speed problem also and so I ran a speed test at www.speakeasy.com. The test is at the bottem right hand of the page. Any how it came back that my dowload speed was 264 kbps (slow) this capped my download speed at around 45 kbs. I was mad because I'm paying for the 3000kbps speed internet. I got on the phone with suddenlink (my isp) and they tested my cable modem and got the same results. They reset it and after retesting my download test is 2886kbps which translates into an much higher download speed from limewire. I'm now downloading at over 200 kbs . How my cable modem got screwed up - I don't know but if it can happen to mine - maybe its happened to some other people too. Any how I posted this to try and help. Its my 2nd post so please be kind.
