Downloadng problems!!

I have just downloaded Limewire 4.12.6 and everything seemed to work fine. All the bars are green and when I search for something I get many hits. The only problem is that when I press "download" on a certain file, nothing happens! It doesn't even move to the downloading window below!

(Ps: I have had the same Limewire before, but I uninstalled it since I couldn't connect,- got tired of it. )

Can someone help me?!
