2k max???? someone help plz

hey, i was just downloading 3 songs on the latest version of limewire when my download speed jumped or fell to 2k or sometimes even 0. i ran a speed test and i was getting high 600-low 700. what can i do to fix?????

ok so for some reason my d-load speed has gone up a small amount, but it is still not where it should be. if my internet runs 700k what should my limewire download speed be if i have 100% bandwidth dedicated to downloads?

keep in mind that i still need some help bringing my d-load speed up.

If you do a speed test & it shows your speed as 700 kbps, that'll give you roughly 75-80 KB/s. 8 bits = 1 byte.

Keep in mind though, your download speed depends on your speed, host(s) speed, how many upload slots the host has open, how many hosts you're downloading from etc.
If you're really concerned about your download speed in general, dwnload a file from here & tell us what speed you get
