Default No more uploads!

Sorry guys. After wading through a few dozen threads about uploads I tried couldn't find a resolution to why I don't have any uploads anymore.

All was working fine. Then nothing!

I am running on an HP XW8000 workstation with dual 3.06 Xeon's. Four GB Ram and 1.5 TB drive space. Running XP Pro with SP2.

Limewire is 4.12.3 Pro and has been working fine. I have 1800 files shared. Mostly movies and MP3's. Absolutly nothing is uploading now. I did notice that if there was an u/l going and the next one started the 1st would stop. Now nothing.
I deleted the preference file. Reset all to default. Changed the dl folder to a new location too. Nothing. Funny thing is the incoming search has files listed that I am sharing but nothing.
Connectin speed shows Turbo and the FW logo is clear.
I tried to change and have the router set up for port forwarding but that didn't help. I've tried UPnP and manual settings for the port but still no good.
My concern is that all was working just fine for the last 2 years.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Could be that your running as an UltraPeer. To check, open LW and go to View>Show/Hide>Connections.....Usually when your running as an UP you won't see many uploads.

Thanks for the reply but I tried to be an UP a few times but it kept returning to leaf mode. I try and keep a watch on connections and it shows 5 outgoing.

Thanks again.

Voo Voo,
In LW go tools > options > bug reports > view example. Scroll down to 'recieved incoming this session'...is it true or false?
If it's true then you can recieve incoming connections (from other computers) & so there should be no problem with people uploading from you.
Unless some settings are dicky & somehow your upload slots are zero or uploads per person are zero?

Sorry it took so long to get back. We had a flood here and had some serious damage to the house. No chance to get back to you.

I checked the log and it is set to true. I totaly removed LW and all related files and settings in the registry as well as on the drives. I then reloaded and it seems to be working better this time, except, now only 3 uploads are the max. I have changed it from 10 to 20 to 30 and when the next person starts to upload the oldest drops off saying transfer interupted.

Pretty wierd! Only 3 at a time. I also noticed that I am now an Ultrapeer with 23 connections.

Any way. Thanks for the help and I hope all had a Merry Christmas and will have a safe New Year.
