im trying to install lime wire pro but it keeps saying that i have an older version of lime wire running but i dont and it wont download the lime wire pro what can i do

What do you mean it won't download LW Pro? LW Pro is an "Offline" installation. You should already have the installer on your computer if you have pro. How much did you pay for pro?

Control-Alt-Del & open process manager & force quit any mention of LimeWire you see.

Then try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

Reboot, then try installing LW.
