Cannot preview music on LM

Hi, I've used LM for a few years but never happened since I download to upgraded LM4.12.6. When I start using new LM, I never preview any music on LM, including saved files, incompleted files and in the middle of downloding files on LM. I can completly download the music and can play in WMP after 100% downloaded as usual but I want to preview music before complete downloding. Cannot preview any music on LM, but can play outside on LM, like WMP. Please advise me how to preview on downloding files. Thank you very much in advance......

Try deleting LW's preferences folder when LW's closed (points 2 & 3 below)

You'll then have to go through & reset all of your options. If you want to make another player your default, make sure that the LW player's disabled.

It might be easier for you to forget about the LW player & make something else your default. You'll still be able to preview but it'll just happen with another player. I have no idea why your LW player's given up but it's a poor player anyway...

Updated versions sometimes behave really differently to previous ones...I can't tell you why
I guess you don't have the installer for your previous version? It's always a good idea to hold onto the installers, just in case you run into probs with an update.
What was your old version?
