Exclamation Unknown Format !!!

Hey guys..I really need help here..I tried what I can but nothing changed.
I purchased a new desktop(same brand as the old one) but scince then I am having this problem which is, every time I try to open a downloaded file (specially ISO,RAR,ZIP Files) from lime wire it shows me this massage: The archive is either in UNKNOWN FORMAT or DAMAGED(with WINRAR), and the massage of: cannot open file, it does not appear to be a valid archive(with WINZIP). I tried to re install winzip and winrar again but no use. One more thing to say that may or may not help, I installed my old hard drive as a slave with the new master one..I even removed these programs from the old one, but nothing helped as well. CAN SOME ONE HELP ME PLEASE

The iso files you usually have to burn as an imgage onto a CD/DVD or mount them with a tool like Daemond Tools.(use Google to find it)
For the zip and rar files, besides that it is possible that they're really damaged and/or corrupted, they might have been compressed with other compression programs and both winzip and winrar do not support those compression types.(use Google to find others)

Another thing could be that they're actually viruses/trojans and/or worms and that's the reason that they are not really open.......though that's just a guess.
