ive got this problem wit my limewire which i dont know where did come from?
i used to work with my limewire really good with a high speed connection n very fast downloads.. i still hav the same internet connection but my limewire has suddenly stoped workin proper.. what happens is that when i try to download anythingg fo example a song with size of 3MB which i used to download in seconds before, its takin 3 hours. and the timing shown under the status for that file downloadin keeps changing from 3 hours to 20 mins bak to 4 hours and so on and it never finishes.

i would appriciate any help

Do you see the firewall icon (brick wall in front of the blue globe)?
Who is your ISP?

You could try deleting LW's preferences folder when LW's closed. See points 2 & 3 below

This will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through & reset things afterwards.

emm i tried the downloading first, the speed was 0 or 1 kb/s changing.
i am not behind the firewll the brick wall disapears after i login.
i am with TalkTalk Broadband.

i deleted the LW's preferences folder. and i tried to download again nothing has changed
