download aborted issue

Hey all,

I have used limewire on and off for years and now and have never had this problem. Many of the downloads are automatically aborted.. They are all movies. When I try to restart the dl under the incomplete folder it tells me they are not fully incomplete files to download and in the main window the resume icon doesn't highlight when I click on an aborted file.

Is there anyway I can restart the dl without losing the file and starting from 0%?

Thanks in advance

hi,
i got this problem as well, was all fine, until few weeks back, downloading was fine and then kept getting aborted, god knows why this happens i am searching now to discover why, but you can get your files back if you do another search for same files you were downloading, then just click on the file, which has the broken file icon next to it, and you start off where you were, it´s a pain, i thought i lost some files which were 80 to 90% but thank god got them back, hope this helps, but please someone let me know why they are aborting in the first place,
thanks
Rough

I did research this problem and it appears as though the person I am downloading from, cancels the dl from his end. You can get your files back easier than your method. Just go into the Library under incomplete files and resume the dl. However, sometimes, it goes back to 0% which really sucks!
