So many "Need More Sources", so few actual Downloads. Hi guys. I'm new here, so please excuse me if this question has been answered previously, but I doubt it. I have used limewire for over...gosh, a good four years. And in that time, never have I seen so many "Need More Sources". Its getting to the point where I have to try really, really hard to find a real download. I'm a computer tester, so I know what to do to try and single out the problem. So, first of all, when I began to wonder, I attempted a wide variety of searches on things I new would come up with hits. I searched for things like "80's music" and some of the more popular bands from that era. Out of over 1000 hits, I tried downloading ten, just to get a range. Only one actually began to download, and it was moving very slowly at that. The rest were labeled simply as "Need More Sources". I searched through Album and Artist names to see if it was bringing up all false hits. I found the exact same file I had downloaded a few months prior, tried downloading it again, and it says the same thing, "Need More Sources." Recognizing that this could be due to peoples computers being off and a coincidence of time, I waited a few hours and tried the same steps again. Still the same thing. Nearly every hit I get is downloaded as "Need More Sources" Is this a phenomena specific to me, or is there something more serious going on? Are we losing connections? What is going on? |
