My Saved Files turned red?? Can't finish downloads?

Hi All. I turned Limewire on this morning and I find that most of My Saved Files are now highlighted in red and are now not being accessed for sharing. Also, the items now in red do not show on the My Shared Files Indicator on the bottom of my screen. That indicator has also changed color from green to a sort of yellowish brownish green color. What has happened? Can anyone please help? Everything was fine last night - I had well over 400 files that I could share - now I have far less than half that many. I have done a virus scan of Limewire Downloads and McAfee seems to stumble at a certain point and just sit there for a long period of time during the scan before moving on to check the other files. It completes the scan and says it has found nothing. have I inadvertanty downloaded something that is scrwwing things up and if so, how do I find it? Help please!

Hmmmmmm.. Just did some looking through My Library and My Shared Folders and I deleted a large program that I had downloaded ( but never opened or installed ) and I now have 399 files that I can share but there are still almost 100 still in red. WHat the heck is going on?

1. For incompletes, see Downlds refuse to reload (click on link), however with LW 4.12 it will continue from where they were if you do what's suggested in the link.

2. For files you're sharing or were sharing & are now in red, select them (can select multiple files whilst holding down the SHIFT key) & right-click on them & choose share files. Else, right-click shared folder & choose share folder.

Wierd!!!

Wow! I'm not sure what happened or why - but it seems to have fixed itself! :yahoo: Could this have anything to do with it - I had downloaded a program and it didn't instal properly so I uninstalled it. The uninstal was not complete and I kept getting a message that the program was trying to start up ( even after the uninstal ) but couldn't and part of it was still on my system in the form of a Shellex.dll file - that no matter what I tried, I couldn't get rid of. I found out about Unlocker - downloaded it and poof! it got rid of the hellex.dll file. I had shut Limewire down while I installed Unlocker - just started it up and everything seems normal.
Sorry about the double post awhile ago.. Thank you so much for your advice :aweof: I appreciate your time. have a great New Years and may the New year be a prosperous and happy one for you. :xeri_ok1ani:

Thank you & glad to hear you solved the problem. Unlocker is supposed to be very good. Not sure about the "y's" but if it worked then that's good enough. ;) :) :partytime2: :celebration:
