Sharing/ Upload question
 

ok i really dont know how to do this and ive tried. if i wanted to directly connect to my computer from say a friends house to se my shared files how would i do that, ive typed in my ip address and w/e but idk what to do can someone help please?

Please be more specific.

What have you tried? What happened when you tried? etc.

all i did was go to direct connect and try typing in my ip address and port, thats it

If that didn't work then you either have a dynamic IP and it changed on you or your setup is not correct.

Do you have a Brick wall in front of the globe (Firewalled) on either your comp or the computer your trying to access your files with?

If you aren't having firewall trouble then the correct IP+Port should be displayed just above where you enter the number. Make sure that Limewire picks up the correct IP.

Also please give a bit more details on your system like eg. Operating system and whether you use Portforwarding or UPnP to bypass your firewall.
