I've been using limewire for a while now and so far i've had no problems. but now whenever i try to download the part of the window that normally has the search tabs and the search results is missing. before i searh, everything is normal but as soon as i search the results window goes blank and there is no tab to click on to show the results. help??

Try clicking on the little arrows and see if that helps...

There is nothing to download so there is no reason to. The are no results, just a blank part in the screen. Its not the thing that shows current downloads thats blank its the place that normally shows the results and the tab for the name of the search.

As I said try clicking on the arrow, as you are probably only veiwing the download screen at the moment, so if you use the arrow it should reduce the download screen inwhich will make the search screen appear...

Im seeing the search screen, not the download one. the little arrows are at the bottom of the screen. i am viewing the search screen and it is totally blank.

Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)
